Bringing 2 yrs old toddler for Island hopping and snorkelling? no problem.

Carol got her first experience on speedboat riding, island hopping, swimming for whole day...they had fun!!

Darius was a bit frightened. After standing by the seaside for hours, I carried him to the sea and played around. Singing and turn around as the rhymes went on.

On the second day, when we went Island hopping, they were more steady and enjoyed themselves swimming in Pulau Bunting Children Pool (lake).

Anyhow, my arms were sore and I was tired for 3 days after home.

My programme quite full in this holiday. Right after from Langkawi, I started swimming lessons with kids(5-9yrs old) in country club. I am now darker and somehow ugly.

For the following week, I will be busy baking and prepared for some CNY cookies.

31 Dec 2001 was the date of our ROM. For the first time, we celebrated with my godparents and families. (many of them are not coming back for CNY)

We departed about 11am and reached Kek Lok Si. Carol had a wonderful time walking around for the first time in her life. Of coz, we din't forget to have some Laksa there.

Then, heading to McDonald at Gurney Drive for lunch n break. Children enjoyed their meal with fries.... Parents enjoy to have a free vanilla cone/ extra fries as we joined the Kids Club!! :D

After that, we went to Botanical garden. A funny scene was..... a monkey was peeling off the tissue when it was licking and eating a cone of ice cream.  I think ddcat recorded it!

Time flies and it was 5pm. We drove off to Teluk Kumbar for seafood. It was a romantic beach with nice view of sunset.

Last night, we went to Juru Autocity.  Tang Lung festival that carried out till end of this year....If u wish to go, the rate for weekday is a great deal. Weekday (Mon-Thu) for malaysian only. BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. RM15 for adult, RM10 for child. (Luckily Darius need not the ticket.) :p

The area was quite big but for the exhibition of Tanglung, it's about half of the camp. Another half was a little funfair stuff for children like Merry Go Round, Ferris Wheel, Motor Ride, Train Ride..... Each ride RM3 for each play.

Ddcat and Darius went for the mini-motorbike ride. See the pix...:p

After all, we took 200 photos!!  My arms still feel a little pain of carrying "them". Our camera is not the best, yet the photos are mostly sound and bubbles.

One month ago, we made our trip to Taiping. It was the first trip we went with baby Carol. Time flies..... She is going to turn 1 yr old soon. I am glad that all the babycare time is over. Phew..... no more baby~!

The photo that we had near the Zoo Taiping board (ddcat, carol and me) was taken by Darius, 3 yrs old.... hehe... blur but he managed to put all of us in the frame and BINGO.... we are in the picture. That time we were waiting for the rain to stop.

How careless are we not to bring umbrella..... after visiting some wild lifes, we just ran back without saying hi to elephant, lion and tiger...

Carol and Darius woke up early at 7am this morning. Thus, ddcat decided to take them to Mengkuang Dam. Finally, we reached there by 9am!! ...after changing their pyjamas, wash bottle, prepare milk powder, put bicycle in the car......and 25 minutes drive.

Here's some photos we took.

Darius is learning to cycle while Carol is learning to turn aside and roll.

Mmcat is learning to be a patient mother while ddcat is learning to be a "free" father.

To a bird park

Last two weeks, we brought Darius to Seberang Jaya bird park. It is located near Sunway Hotel. Go along the main road till the end of the road, you will get it.

It was the first time Darius went to see the "animals". He has never visited to any zoo before. That day was quite hot. We were sweating carrying our 13kg son under the hot sun.

Somehow, we just visited those birds at the entrance as there was no special show on that day. According to the receptionist, during CNY, there will be a special show. Perhaps we will go again. The entrance fee is RM15 including of gouvernment  tax.

Darius is feeding the birds with some grains. I don't really enjoy as it was smelly and the air circulation is not so good. Actually those birds at the entrance are for sale. After spending half an hour there, we went off to Carrefour.

Toy Museum in Penang

We made a easy walk to Toy Museum as it is situated in front of our hotel. The entrance fee is quite expensive but after visiting, you may find the figurines displayed are worthwhile to see.

They are not toys, they are the miniatures represented the character of some cartoon or movie. Like, star wars, Lord of the Rings, Monsters, Doraemon, Incredibles, Lilo and Stitch, Transformer, Child Play.... and etc. The lastest display would be Chicken Little!

The figurines are displayed in the shelves and it is covered by a plastic screen. Although it is just a small room but we spent for an hour to visit and take photos. As Darius couldn't stay still and we also do our window visiting only.
